Harlem based vocalist, Henny The Don, recoginises the importance of packaging. This time, he challenged me to capture the visual direction of this project without using an image of himself.
With knowledge of Henny's musical catalog, I was able to generate a vague image of his present content. Instead of focusing on the artist as typical covers do, the artwork is represented by a collage, supporting the singer's vision.
The creative gave the vocalist a bold presence and opened his audience's curiousity. His core fans were drawn into the altered bottle of Hennessy, expecting nothing more than the smooth blend of vocals and latest instrumentation.
