1985. Nintendo Entertainment Systems (NES) made it's way to every household, including mine. For hours the family would crowd around the television and cheer as individuals completed levels to Super Mario Bros. By '89 the addiction grew to endless Tetris battles with a plastic grey brick and only have worsen.
Creating the vectors in a series gave retro gamers on Instagram and Behance a thrill. Both outlets created a buzz amongst other gaming enthusiest.
As a resource of trendy posts, communicating to specific sub-cultures, I dedicated these to gamers. The community being such a growing population, illustrating retro favorites ensured my followers, I'm just as big of a kid as they are. By doing so, I've gained the respect as an artist and noteriety as a gamer, furthering my image/ branding.
