Season of Peace is a national period of time that empowers young people in the inner citty effected by violence. In 2014, my task was to roll out a full campaign reflecting the community’s involvement around the United States.
An iconic new typeface branded the Season of Peace, seen on multiple cities' transit systems. The vibrant choice of color and bold type were developed to reflect the young lives the non-profit attempted to reach.
I was proud to hear the descriptions of the campaign as ‘bright, hopeful and energetic,’ a perfect fit for the wonderful people dedicated around the nation. By introducing a recoginizable colorway and type, the communities shared the imagery through social-media and printed fliers. Seeing synonymous imagery in their travels increased awareness and engagement.
